It is from the XVI century an ancient fishing village. Visit the fishermen neighborhood, the pier Lota, its quaint fishing boats moored in the Ria Formosa. In the chapel we see the image of the virgin Patron of Santa Luzia. The promenade runs along the Avenida Eng. Duarte Pacheco. Taste the typical dishes of octopus, muffled octopus, octopus tasquinha, the fillets octopus with rice razor clams or octopus Lagareiro that made Santa Luzia the delicious Capital Octopus in Portugal.
